Original era manufacture. A German WWI .77 mm trench art shell casing, which is date stamped 1917 on the base. The body of the casing is nicely decorated with images of three French WWI era medals, Legion of Honor, Croix de Guerre, and what looks to be a Verdun medal. Stands 9 inches in height.
