Original period manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 12.2 inches in length, crown proof on the spine, pressed steel grip with a swept-back guard. FAG marked, type 2 scabbard with traces of feldgrau paint finish remaining. Unit marked on the crossguard, 1 E. B. J.R.135.5 and on the reverse of the guard 184 for weapon number.
