Original era manufacture. Well made badge with a white enameled Maltese, and profile of a helmeted German soldier at center. Ges. Gesch. marked reverse, with a German style stickpin. Similar in design to the Hamburg Front Kampfer badge, perhaps a variant. Measures 15 x 20 mm.
