Original era manufacture.Private purchase quality, doeskin, feldgrau wool  visor hat with red wool piping and band. Officers quality national and Wurttemberg cockades, with a pressed fiber visor. Grey leather sweatband with white ribbon decoration, simple gray cloth lining. The hat is not crushed or broken, very minor mothing to the lower edge of the cap band on the inside, with a few scattered pinhole sized moth bites here and there. A nice solid looking hat which displays very well.
