Original era manufacture. Large bronze cross with the Kriegs Verdienst  reverse, original ribbon.Instituted in 1915, and according to an online source, less than 2,000 examples of both 3rd & 4th classes were awarded. This being the 3rd class, the 4th having a blank panel on its reverse.
