Original era manufacture. A clean set of bmj proofed 10x50 Dienstglas with a 1942 dated presstoff case. The optics are clear, but a little murky, they are properly collimated, and there is a range grid in the right lens. The left eyepiece adjusts properly, while the right is stripped, but can be adjusted. The imitation leather frame covering is basically intact, although the right side, lower tube cover came off and it was reattached with some glue. The original black leather neck strap is intact, and has a black bakelite lens cover attached to it.Very sound black presstoff material issue case, which is 1942 dated on the interior, and is damage free, the spring loaded closure bar works properly, and the black cloth "pull" is complete and damage free. The original shoulder strap for the case is missing, however a German NSDAP Sam Browne shoulder belt strap has been dragooned into service, and works real well. As purchased by SMA from the estate of a WWII US Army Sergeant, who served with a Chemical Mortar Battalion in Europe during WWII.
