Original era manufacture. First pattern tropical helmet introduced in 1941 of tan canvas covered cork construction. The helmet is complete with its proper Army pattern insignia, and a red canvas liner. The leather bound edge shows normal wear, scuffing and so on, no missing portions. Dated 1941 under the sweatband, chinstrap is missing.
