Original era manufacture. I know that's a bit of a stretch when discussing a replica, but over the years they have gathered there own share of collector interest. An early attempt to provide GI's stationed in postwar Germany with a souvenir to return home with after their tour was over. Standard design of the 1933 EM dagger but with a plastic grip and an odd maker mark on the blade. The blade has darkened over the years but has not been sharpened. It makes a great letter opener.
