Original era manufacture. Chromed steel blade with aluminum fittings. The blade has not been sharpened, with no nicks in the edges, and the point remains sharp. Scattered staining along the blade on each side, with lifting of the finish on one side at the tip; Horster logo on the ricasso.Very bright and clean looking aluminum fittings, with most of the original gilding remaining on the guard and pommel. Typical surface scuffing to the grip leather, with the triple aluminum wire binding remaining intact.Leather covered, steel bodied scabbard with bright aluminum fittings and suspension chain and snap hook. All of the fitting screws are present. The leather scabbard covering is missing on one side, with scattered surface scuffing to the remainder of the leather.
