Original era manufacture. We are pleased to offer this untouched original example directly from a WWII veterans estate. The dagger features a very clean blade which shows a considerable amount of cross grain polish, circular makers mark underneath the swastika, tip is ever so slightly rounded. Nice black wood grip with no cracks or chips, just minor denting from age and handling. Original paint to the dent free scabbard body with a few tiny areas of missing paint. All of the scabbard fitting screws are present, with scattered areas of green verdigris attesting to the daggers out-of-the-woods condition. Intact leather suspension strap with a DRGM marked snaphook. No missing enamel in the grip emblem.
