Original era manufacture. Dark orange gripped dagger with silver wire binding, traces of the original gilding remaining on the swastika pommel. The blade displays considerable spotting and staining along its length, with a clear Eickhorn trademark on its ricasso. There is really no pitting to mention, perhaps a good cleaning with a mild metal polish will improve things.Original period hangers with zinc fittings, showing some fraying along the edges of the velvet backed cloth straps.Dent free steel scabbard with zinc bands and suspension rings.
