Original era manufacture. A very clean example complete with it's proper pattern knot and hangers in similar condtition. The blade is quite nice showing lots of orginal crossgrain polish, clear Holler logo on the reverse ricasso and has not been sharpened or edge nicked. Cream colored grip with correct silver wire binding, only comment to make is that the transition of the grip bottom to the ferrule is not flush. Nice original silver wire knot with minimal fraying.A very nice set of original hangers accompany the dagger, dark alloy fittings with each connecting snap DRGM marked on it's reverse. Velvet backed cloth suspension straps connecting to a matching condition dark alloy snaphook. The reverse of the hook is also DRGM marked and interestingly shows a makers markings of U.E.10 next to an RZM marking. After checking on Wehrmacht Awards (an excellent collectors forum information source by the way), turns out this is quite commonly seen with the U.E.10 proof.
