Original era manufacture. I believe this to be a 30 mm HE projectile & casing fired from an aircraft cannon.Original yellow paint on the projectile body, with a brass colored steel casing. This appears to have been water-recovered, with a split in the top of the casing, and a ragged top edge of the casing. No fuse assembly.Empty of all explosives, measures 7.5 inches in length.
