Original era award documents. German WWII lot of 4 award documents for Oberwachtmeister Helmet Decker, 5th Artillery Regiment. Eastern Front Medal, Infantry Assault Badge, Iron Cross 2nd Class and War Service Cross with Swords. The Iron Cross document, dated 8 February 1941, is signed by Knights Cross & Oakleaves winner, Generalmajor Karl Allmendinger who later commanded the 17th Army. The 5th Jager Division served on the Eastern Front during WWII, Army Group North, and ended the war on the outskirts of Berlin where it was destroyed.
