Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the German WWII 5 cm light mortar round which is empty of all explosives.Nearly all of the original red primer paint remains, with numerous proofs and markings on the steel body. The base primer has been struck, and the body is empty of all explosives.The black plastic top is intact, and was cross-threaded onto the body when we purchased it. It was carefully removed so as to not damage the threads then carefully and properly screwed into position, but not completely, again to protect the threads.Very sound original hard cardboard shipping container which is marked on one side as to contents. It is dated on the base 1937.US Sales Only.
