Original era issue. Lot of four original award documents to Wachtmeister Helmut Decker I./Art.Rgt.5. The documents include Iron Cross 2nd Class 1941, Infantry Assault 1942, Eastern Front Medal 1942 and War Service Cross 2nd Class with Swords 20 April 1944 (Hilter's Birthday).The Iron Cross document is signed by Generalmajor Karl Allmendinger, Knights Cross w' Oakleaves, commander of the 5th Jager Division. During WWII the 5th Jager Division was lightly engaged during the French campaign of 1940, seeing considerable action on the Eastern Front in the Vyasma sector in the summer of 1941. Sent to France in December to rest and refit it was converted into a Jager Division. It returned to Russian in February 1942, in March and April it helped relieve Demjansk. It served in Poland in 1944, and was destroyed in the defense of Berlin in 1945.
