Original era manufacture.Brass framed6x30 Dienstglas used by all branches of the Wehrmacht in all theaters of WWII, and maker marked by Busch-Rathenow.The optics areslightly murky, butclear and are in proper collimation, with a range grid in the right lens, the individual focus eyepieces work properly. Attached to the body is an original leather neck strap, pliable, with a small tear on one side. The binoculars are sound, show some wear to the imitation leather covering but nothing unusual for service used binoculars. There is a raised number on the right frame plate, with the letter "M" below, which may indicate Kriegsmarine use.The black bakelite case is not cracked or broken, with only the tip of the closure strap being broken away. The black leather belt loops are sound, show wear on the edges but are unbroken. The central pivot rod is a bit floppy, meaning when you hold up the binoculars on one side of the frame, the opposite side will droop down.
