Original era manufacture. Cardboard sleeve containing 20 individual boxes with a printed label on one end. Each smaller box would have contained 15 7.92x57, rifle or machine gun cartridges, most often mounted in lots of five on steel or brass stripper clips. Mix of labels on the individual boxes. The cloth securing strap is broken and only one end piece remains, otherwise sound. The standard German WWII ammunition can was designed to carry one of these boxes.
