Original era manufacture. Likely the most famous of the POW camps operated by Germany during WWII, was the one at Colditz Castle in Saxony, OFLAG (offizierlager) IV C.Housing only Allied officers of all nationalities during the war, and famous for many of the escape attempts by the prisoners.40 x 60 mm segmented zinc rectangle, with Oflag IV C, Nr 280 stamped on each side. Touch of zinc corrosion on each side. From an old Arizona collection purchased last year.
