Original era issue. Zinc tag stamped with the following Stalag IVB 59248. Stalag IVB was located about 30 miles Northeast of Dresden, during WWII the soldiers of 33 Allied nations passed through it's gates, including 7,500 Americans captured during the Battle of the Bulge. Stalag IVB was liberated by the Russians in 1945.
