Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Wehrmacht ammunition box of WWII made of aluminum, handle latch and hinge work properly. Waffenamt proof on the top of the lid and what looks to be a date of 1939. There is an ordnance gray paint finish, but beneath, traces of an original three color camouflage paint finish is visible. No big dents or other issues, just normal age and wear.
