Original era manufacture. Dark olive green wool felt helmet in a size 57. Both original metal emblems are present and sound, original leather chinstrap, and intact leather edging to the rim of the helmet. Brown leather sweatband with is import marked GERMANY, and maker and size marked on the underside. There is a thin puncture in the crown of the helmet, both front and rear, which can be seen in our photos. In each instance they measure about 15 mm in length.
