Original period manufacture. Silver wire embroidered in the rank of an Oberleutnant, whiteunderlay above the dark green base. Removable type strap as worn with the white summer uniform.This was included as a part of a recently purchased WWII veterans trophy flag. The GI served with artillery attached to the US XXth Corps. Near new condition showing storage age and wear only.
