Original era manufacture. Decent set of early war quality but still retaining the early silver fittings. Ivory colored plastic grip is not damaged, original silver bullion knot is wrapped partially around the grip and shows typical age and wear with some scattered oxidation. The original hangers are basically complete except for the attaching clip which is broken. The blade is clean with a sharp point with cross grain polish visible, minor age staining and runner wear. The scabbard shows some scattered bubbling to the plating with most of it occurring near the tip, crossguard wiggles a bit. Decent example which is fairly priced.
