Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the classic WWII German enlisted soldiers field hat. Feldgrau wool body and turn-up, with a metal grommet on each side of the body. Hand sewn insignia, stitching does not pierce the lining. The interior is very clearly maker marked and dated 1942, size 54. A clean hat with no moth issues.
