Original period manufacture. Nicely detailed pebbled aluminum buckle with a nice contrast to the obverse, traces of the original feldgrau paint finish on the reverse. There is a scratch on the top edge of the buckle just above the rope edge.Original sewn brown leather adjusting tab with a rather faint makers mark. Normal age and wear.
