Original era manufacture. This is a really great example of a GI decorated souvenir belt, likely picked up during the North Africa campaign 1942-43.Cast aluminum buckle with a 1937 dated leather adjusting tab. Black leather belt which is clearly maker marked and dated 1938. Punched through the body of the belt is a German wound badge in black (painted brass), two aluminum Italian collar stars, and a pith helmet tri-color in painted brass.Belt measures 40 inches in length. Very sound condition.
