Original era manufacture. Feldgrau wool top, with black wool piping throughout. Complete orange cotton lining with an intact sweatshield, size marked 56. The leather sweatband is securing sewn to the body of the hat, with several inkstamps on the underside.Original aluminum eagle and wreath, with a patent leather chinstrap. There are a few scattered moth bites to the body of the hat but nothing severe.Overall the hat presents very well, is not crushed or broken and the visor is securely sewn to the body.
