Original era manufacture. Standard pebbled aluminum Heer pattern enlisted buckle with good detail to the obverse, and traces of the feldgrau paint finish on the reverse. Maker marked under the prong bar, an elongated triangle with the letters OHS, or OH5 within. The leather adjusting tab has been trimmed up to the stitch line.Pliable, black leather service belt, with a maker marked aluminum catch, L&F. The tongue has been trimmed, and with the buckle mounted into the foremost holes, the belt measures 32 inches. There is a set of extra holes in the tip of the belt, which with the buckle installed, measures out to a 34 inch length. Normal age and wear, very sound.
