Original era manufacture. Reversible red to yellow cotton band that was woven in a curve. That is to say when the band is placed on a flat surface it will naturally assume a curved shape when you attempt to flatten it out. This allows the band to fit the curve of the helmet shell much more evenly. Three metal securing clips on the ends of gray cloth tabs hold the strap in place on the helmet, metal size adjusting band on the rear. Shows normal use and wear. One available.
