Original era manufacture. A private purchase Army officers quality, Infantry enlisted visor hat, brought home by T-3 John P. Rodrigues, Company A, 136th Maintenance Company, 14th Armored Division. Doeskin, feldgrau wool body with white piping and dark green wool covered band. Original aluminum insignia on the front of the hat as shown.Intact original silk lining with a diamond shaped sweatshield with makers name. The perforated leather sweatband is securely sewn to the body, with a black wool bead at the front. The underside of the hat displays some minor mothing, but none on the top. Size about a 57.
