Original era manufacture. This is an officers quality hat of doeskin quality feldgrau wool with white wool piping and a dark green wool band. Fairly intact sweatshield with the makers logo at center. Well worn leather sweatband but amazingly no breaks or tears. The wool is pretty much free of moth damage, biggest issue is that the visor needs to be restitched. Original insignia intact, the hat is not crushed or misshapen. Just needs some TLC.
