Original era manufacture. A beautiful set, in the rank of Hauptmann of Infantry, 3rd Regiment. Berlin makers tag inside the collar, full lining, and original sewn insignia throughout. No moth damage or staining to the doeskin wool tunic. Bright aluminum aigulette with silver alloy metal points, no fraying or damage. Tunic size, about a 40 regular. The straight trousers, are in matching gray woolmaterial withwhite piping along the outer seam on each leg. The trousers are free of stains, butI did notice a few small moth bites, one on a leg, and two on the cuff. The gray wool breeches have a reinforced leather seat and are made from a heavier weight material. Again, light wear overall, I noticed one small tear on the seat (10 mm in length), about 5 inches below the waistband. All of the leg lacing is present, as are the buttons, although one of the fly buttons is broken.Also included is a nice pair of period looking suspenders. A great looking set ready for display.
