Original era manufacture. All feldgrau wool material, with a thick gray wool lining throughout the interior of the coat. Double breasted front, with two muff pockets above the typical slash-type hip pockets. Numerous repairs can be seen on the exterior of the overcoat, the cuff ends are frayed, and the interior lining displays considerable wear and use. Scattered mothing  as well, on the shoulders are a pair of rather funky-looking SS Infantry shoulder straps, if they are original, this coat is a bargain. The size is about a 42 long.In spite of the coat's many warts, it displays well, is priced to sell and allows a budget-minded collector to have a great basis for a combat uniform display, using a pair of boots, steel helmet and basic field gear. The scarce and expensive issue trousers and tunic are not necessary as the length of the overcoat covers all. *PLEASE NOTE, the helmet and tunic beneath are not included in the price, Surcoat only.
