Original era manufacture. Rough, issue quality feldgrau wool construction with a well worn olive cotton lining. The exterior has an original machine sewn BeVo quality insignia the stitching does not pierce the lining. The feldgrau wool body shows considerable soldier wear and use with the bottom turn-up securing button missing. There are black cotton stitch repairs along the bottom edge of the hat and a moth bite on the edge of the visor. This guy is a salty one but certainly saw its share of WWII.
