Original era manufacture. Dark gray finished steel helmet with its original decal as shown. Original brown leather liner (no drawstring) and leather chinstrap. All liner rivets are in place as are their slotted washers. The helmet displays scattered surface corrosion on its exterior but retains a great WWII vintage look to it. Matching finish on the interior, with the liner leather being stiff but pliable, with some scattered areas of rust staining and wear. The original chinstrap is full length, with the longer length be a bit torn and missing some leather where it attaches to the steel chinstrap loop. Honest old WWII souvenir.
