Original era manufacture. Clean, original M1935-40 Army steel helmet, with original decal as shown, Lot number 3804. Dark paint finish, with its original leather liner showing wear and use, portions of the chinstrap remain. Original to the helmet rivets, each secured by its slot washer. This is a 1935 pattern helmet with inset rather than stamped ventilator holes.
