Original era manufacture. Untouched combat used steel helmet with traces of the Heer pattern decal as shown. Although missing its drawstring, the leather liner is quite pliable and is original to the helmet. All three rivets and slot washers are in place. The exterior of the helmet shows a combat finish of a mix of dark feldgrau paint and dark steel patina. Original, pliable chinstrap showing typical wear but sound. Solid combat example.
