Original era manufacture. Sound and complete example with a dark feldgrau exterior with scattered patches of surface corrosion, original Heer pattern decal as shown. Original to the helmet, leather liner with no broken fingers and complete adjusting string which needs to be re-threaded through the finger holes. Pliable and complete leather chinstrap which is maker marked and dated 1940 near the tip. Unmolested original helmet.
