Original period manufacture. Cleaned steel shell with a mix of gray paint and patina finish with no traces of decals remaining. Maker marked ET64 inside the neck skirt. Original and fairly intact WWII leather liner with drawstring, surface dryness with a few broken finger tops. Good quality replica leather chinstrap with what appears to be an original aluminum fitting buckle. A previous owner added an original Heer breadbag strap to use as a foilage strap. Good display piece with mostly original parts.
