Original era manufacture. An untouched M1940 pattern German Army helmet, with portions of the original decal remaining on the left side. Early style alloy rivet heads which are complete with their slot-washers. The surface and interior of the helmet exhibits a rough, combat texture, matt gray paint finish, with the rank and name of the original owner, handpainted into the neck skirt.Dry and well worn leather liner exhibiting considerable wear and use. No chinstrap.
