Original era manufacture. Sound, original helmet with what looks like traces of wartime applied white-wash to the exterior. Matt gray combat finish elsewhere, with an original decal as shown. The liner is very sound, pliable leather with no broken fingers and an intact drawstring. The chinstrap is missing the short buckle end but the buckle itself remains. A previous owner cleverly mounted the long portion with buckle attached to connect to both chinstrap loops. Looks good for display.
