Original era manufacture. This is a very nice example of a mid-war pattern German Army helmet. Original to the helmet leather liner with adjusting string with all rivets and slot washers in place. Very clean original decal as shown. Matt feldgrau, combat paint finish which has never been oiled or polished. A partial chinstrap remains which is missing its buckle. This helmet has an outstanding exterior, it's too bad about the strap, really its only flaw.
