Original era manufacture. An original lot, featuring an Iron Cross 2nd Class document signed by Knights Cross Winner, General-Leutnant Ernst Hammer, commander of the 75th Infantry Division. The lot includes the following; Iron Cross 2nd Class & Document, Westwall Medal & envelope with Document, Black Wound Badge & Document, Infantry Assault Badge & field made Document, signed by his regimental commander. Nice magnetic center EK with most of its core finish remaining and a pleasing silver patina to the ribbing and frame. Early quality Westwall medal with an original ribbon and maker marked paper envelope, early quality, black painted brass wound badge and a zinc Infantry Assault badge with a clever, soldier done, repair to the catch. During WWII the 75th Division served in France in 1940, and the remainder of the war on the Eastern Front, initially with Army Group South, and later, with Army Group Center. It fought in Poland in 1944, and ended the war in the pocket outside of Prague.
