Original era manufacture. Chrome finished steel blade measuring 33 inches in length, no issues, very clean. Chrome finished guard and pommel, black plastic wrapped grip with triple strand aluminum wire, all strands being sound and complete. Dent free black painted steel scabbard retaining nearly 100% of its original finish, all screws are present. Nice clean sword. This sword was one of many souvenirs brought home to the US after the end of WWII by Corporal R.D.Easler, 3468th Ordnance Company, US Army.
