Original era manufacture. Chrome finished steel blade measuring 33 inches in length, very clean, no issues with the Eickhorn trademark under the langet. Chrome finished guard and pommel, black plastic grip bound with triple strand aluminum wire, one of the straightwires is a bit loose and missing a portion of its length on thelower half of the grip, the upper grips is fine. Original leather NCO knot wrapped around guard and grip. Dent free black painted steel scabbard retaining nearly all of its original finish, allfitting screws are present. This sword was one of many souvenirs brought home to the US after the end of WWII by Corporal R.D.Easler, 3468th Ordnance Company, US Army.
