Original era manufacture. Army officers pattern dress belt with a silver wire outer covering with twodark greenembroidered stripes. Nice quality feldgrau wool backing material,bright aluminum officers pattern buckle with attaching hook. Belt shows minimal wear and use, with no corrosion issues to the wire covering.Both of the vertical striped slides are present, again with no issues. The thin leather adjusting tongue is still pliable. Belt measures 38.5 inches overall. One narrow 8 mm rectangular moth bite on the wool covering, and a very small section of stitching (about 12mm) has opened up on the bottom edge of the back of the belt. Purchased from the son of the GI who brought it home from WWII.
