Original era manufacture. A nice early example featuring silver fittings and a nice dark orange grip. All of the metal fittings show a very pleasing dark silver patina. The blade is in original polish with a very nice contrast of the Eickhorn logo. The blade has not been cleaned or sharpened with just some very minor runner wear to the surface and light surface spotting. The original knot shows some scattered light fraying and oxidation to its surface. The original hangers have a dark feldgrau colored velvet backing with stitched silver wire bands on the front. Light, scattered oxidation to the metal fittings and buckles. The reverse of the hangers show some wear and rubbing to the edges with a small amount of unraveling of the stitching below the suspension loop. An honest original dagger.
