Original period manufacture. Eickhorn marked blade with lots of original cross grain polish remaining, (I cleaned off most of the old cosmoline seen in our photos), with a nice contrast to the Eickhorn logo. Dark orange plastic grip with a small chip in the ribbing on one side. Original tie silver wire cord which shows wear in spots. Dark zinc finished pommel, guard and scabbard body. Clean pair of Army pattern cloth hangers, showing surface wear to the straps near the hanger loop. Overall a respectable and complete example of a WWII German Army officers dagger.
