Original era manufacture. Another fine condition dagger from an old Arizona collection.Very nice bright and clean blade with a clear makers trademark on the ricasso. Minor runner wear to the surface, otherwise crossgrain polish everywhere, with a sharp point.Early quality, silvered alloy guard and pommel, with a dark orange grip, and an original silver wire knot in proper tie. The grip is free from cracks, and chips, wear to the knot cord where it drapes over the top of the guard. The dent free silver alloy scabbard has a nice dark silver patina finish which matches the guard and pommel perfectly. These early production Army daggers are really a delight, wonderful manufacture and craftsmanship.
